We are family owned poke and Asian street food restaurant located in Dinkytown, on the University of Minnesota campus. We serve customized poke bowls, banh mi sandwiches and rice bowls.
Been craving Poké for a while and found this place. Place was CLEAN. Staff was polite and friendly. The owner struck up a conversation with me about different poké places out on the coast. The food is a good portion for the price and the taste is amazing. The house sauce is sublime and it was the best poké I’ve had in years. I can’t wait to go back.
We had The Cove do catering for an event we had. The food blew everyone away! We had 62 people for dinner and they couldn’t believe how amazing the food was. The Just Poke was the first to go (I underestimated my guests and assumed not as many would want raw) and they loved the Sushirritos and the Poke bowls. I worked with Lee to plan the event and he had his stuff together. He knew what people would like, how much to order and he accommodated some special requests. Food was delivered on time, excellent quality and now there are a lot of people who plan to come to the restaurant!!!

I love this place, the pork belly poutine, the meatball sandwiches, and so freaking tasty!!!
Love the food, however the sauce are little too sour to me. Would be better if they can re-organize the seats and tables
The service was super friendly and the food was AMAZING! I didn’t want to get on their rewards program on the first visit but now I definitely want to sign up because I will be making regular stops here!
The Spam Masubi is to die for, love this place!! Will definitely be a regular here.
Just tried the poke bowl via BiteSquad. The Cove is a new favorite for sure.
This place so so Onolicious!!! We come here regularly and have such a great experience every time. The staff is warm and inviting, and the food hits the spot every time
The food is awesome! Poke bowl was good and healthy. Banhmi sandwich was on point! Service is excellent! Nice environment!
You can customize your poke and rice bowls to get exactly what you want. The new spam musubi rolls were delicious. I can’t wait to take my husband.
Friendly staff. Awesome poke bowls, steam buns and sushirritos! Makes me miss Hawaii!
Loved it. Everything was so tasty. And fresh. Can't wait to go back
Rice bowls were delicious! My kids devoured it. I tried the house poke bowl with tuna and it was pretty good for someone who doesn't really like to eat fish. The bahn mi's were also excellent.
I've been waiting for an authentic Hawaiian poke bowl to come to Minnesota. So happy it's finally here! All of the ingredients were fresh and the food was great! I can't wait to go back. My friend and I each got a tuna poke bowl and shared a pork belly banh mi sandwich.
As fresh as the poke I've had on the north shore of Oahu!!Awesome staff...very friendly 'n
Loved it. Super recommend the salmon poke bowl (house style) and the pork belly rice bowl. Succulent and flavorful and generous portions!
Friendly staff, great food done fast! The melting flavors of Smokey sesame, sweet seaweed, savory pork belly all on top of a bowl of rice smoothed out with a salad medley made with their home made Mayo all the while kicking around your mouth with the spices of habanero and other chillies. A must taste experience worth frequent visits!
DELICIOUS! I craved poke bowls for days afterwards. Homemade sauces made from scratch. YUMMMM!

Salmon poke bowl was amazing!! Atmosphere is relaxed, employees are helpful and I got to customize my food. Definitely going back!
Food here is really good, the guys that run it are awesome super nice guys.
Down right Delicious....... to die for......a must try.....best poke bowl not in Hawaii, lots meat, lots of sea food in poke bowl....variety of condiments in bowl, BIG PORTIONS, come with an empty stomach, or be ready to pack it home of left overs....... you wont be disappointed. Go try it NOW.
Best darn seafood place in northern Midwest! Didn't know what to expect since first time having a pokebowl...but boy was I in for a treat! Visiting from Arkansas, I wanted to grub on some dub if you know what I mean? Seafood was on my mind but cash strapped I was defined....great place for food, fun, and if you ain't got the cash it's def affordable!!

Great Service, Ambiance (Loved the music, reclaimed wood in the seating booths, etc) and the FOOD! I had pork Belly, pulled pork, and breaded tofu mixed with bamboo shoot, mushrooms, marinated kale, and jalapenos in my rice bowl and it was all on point and delicious in my mouth with every chopstick grab. 🙂 The cost of the food is right on target (no pun intended since Target is right across the street). The portion is pretty generous considering if I had to compare with places like Chipotle who serves those burrito bowls for a comparable price. However, this one is just more flavorful, has more variety, and the taste of the selection in veggies and protein triggers more curiosity in trying something else next time- or...you can try it all in one sitting! It was just so much food in one bowl, I couldn't make room for a Banh Mi. In fact, I had to pack my bowl to go, BUT I did buy pork belly & meatball banh mi sandwiches to go and poke bowl for my husband (I don't eat seafood). He loved the spicy ahi tuna! I would definitely come visit again!
It was so nummy I loved the bánh mì so so good! Exited to try more
Spicy ahi tuna poke bowl was delicious. Every ingredient tasted fresh. Loved the lotus root and slaw. Portion was perfect, even a little more than I expected.
The price initially made me hesitant to try the food, however, after getting the rice bowl I can see the price is set perfect. I would have liked the option to choose 1 protein at a cheaper price than having to do 2 proteins. I would highly recommend trying this new restaurant. It brings some fresh food options to Dinkytown and is a healthier option than most places. The portion of the rice bowl was perfect. Not too small, and a little on the larger side (great for left overs).
